P'Gell,
probably the most famous of The Spirit's femmes fatale,
graces this cover. If clobbering The Spirit with a bannister
can be regarded as graceful. Will Eisner created this
cover for issue #18 in 1986, based on the lead story, "Saree
Falls in Love" (5/18/47). If P'Gell is your favorite Spirit
villain, you also want the blue suited guy in the cover, and
don't mind four thugs and some cash thrown in, this may be the
choice original for you. Signed and dated. Larger than most Eisner
